It is considered one of the most important foundations in Mallorca and its many objectives include artistic and literary patronage, as well as the dissemination of the art that Bartolomé March collected.

Activities

The foundation organizes various cultural activities in its spaces in Palma and Cala Ratjada whose main mission is to bring culture and artistic heritage closer to all audiences.

The Palau March Museum

The Palau March Museum, located in the heart of the historic center of Palma and surrounded by emblematic buildings, exhibits its collection of modern and contemporary sculptures, its Mallorcan cartography considered one of the best in the world, an 18th-century Neapolitan Nativity Scene and works by one of the most prestigious muralists of the 20th century, Josep Sert.

Cala Ratjada

In Cala Ratjada is the outdoor museum of contemporary art, which in its time was the most pioneering in Europe. In the garden and the house of the March family, you can enjoy the sculptures that Don Bartolomé March collected during his life and where together with several landscape artists, including the famous Russel Page and Leandro Silva, he managed to connect art with nature.
